AUSTRALIA, THEN THE WORLD.
AusFAC is Australia’s only agriculture technology event with a direct connection to a global network of agtech entrepreneurs, investors, and clients.
Now in its fifth year, AusFAC is the Australian arm of the international Future Agro Challenge competition. Each year, six of Australia’s most promising up-and-coming agriculture technology innovators pitch their innovative solution to a 21st century food and farming challenge in a unique competition event.
The winner is crowned Australian Agripreneur of the Year, earning the right to compete at the Global Future Agro Challenge against innovators from over 60 FAC countries.
AusFAC’s record is impressive – 2017 winner AgUnity went on to become the global FAC champion and has grown from its startup roots to a major international company, working with the United Nations to solve food supply chain challenges in developing countries. 2018 winner SwarmFarm Robotics took out 3rd place internationally and is leading the development of autonomous robotics for crop production.
